Mt. Pisgah C.A.R.E.S.
Mt. Pisgah C.A.R.E.S. (Community Action, Redevelopment, and Economic Solutions) was founded in 2019 to address many pressing issues facing the residents in the Greenville section of Jersey City. Mt. Pisgah African Methodist Episcopal Church, founded in 1931, has a long history of doing ministry in the community through various outreach ministries, and Mt. Pisgah C.A.R.E.S. was created as a separate entity to expand those outreach efforts in a greater way. With a focus on empowering individuals through job training, integrating returning citizens to the community, entrepreneurship, economic education, home ownership, redevelopment opportunities, and outreach to those who are marginalized, Mt. Pisgah C.A.R.E.S. exists to make a difference.

The MISSION of Mt. Pisgah C.A.R.E.S. is to impact the Greenville section of Jersey City and our surrounding communities through transformative programming, community partnerships, redevelopment opportunities, and continuing education of our community members.
